The Purcell School Students



Lunchtime recital by star pupils from the Purcell School

Some of the country’s most accomplished teenage musicians displayed their talents at a lunchtime recital in Rickmansworth on Wednesday, 7 February .

Ellen Wilkinson played Albinoni's Oboe Concerto in D minor, Op.9 No.2
The concert was given by four students from the Purcell School, Bushey, Britain’s oldest specialist school for talented young musicians.

The students performing at the Three Rivers Music Society concert were Ellen Wilkinson (oboe), Chris Price (tuba), Francesca Lauri (piano) and Eugenie Dalgleish (violin).

The concert was attended by Year 6 pupils from Holywell Primary School in West Watford. They not only enjoyed the concert but also enjoyed the talk with the performers after the concert.
